Who are we: A Bangalore based online organic store that does home delivery of organically grown fruits, vegetables & nonperishables direct from the farm.

Founding Story: After 12 years of corporate life in India & Abroad, Gautham PB (IG:@pbgautham)  quit his well-paying job and founded Healthy Buddha with Anurag in Bangalore in early 2014. Gautham’s Father Murali is an organic farmer himself and has been one of the early pioneers of the organic movement in Tamilnadu. In his college days, Gautham PB used to work in a weekly organic farmers market. This was the spark that later on led to the creation of Healthy Buddha when he could not find good quality organic produce for his own family in Bengaluru and realized that this would be true for others looking to lead a healthy lifestyle as well.

Why did we start: It is unfortunate that people are unaware and eat chemical-laden harmful food every day. We definitely did not want our kids to eat the same. Organic food was not conveniently available, and on the other hand, genuine organic farmers were not getting the right price for their produce. We wanted to do something about it.

How we are different: We do not sell anything and everything that has the tag Organic. We sell products from handpicked verified organic farmers and small entrepreneurs. We curate products which we test to be the best and that which we would buy for our own family.  We consciously avoid selling any big brands or any imported products.
