Thooya Malli Boiled Rice

Comes from an Organic Farmer in Pudukottai, Tamilnadu

Thooyamalli is a traditional rice variety of Tamil Nadu. Its name literally means "Pure Jasmine" representing the pristine whiteness of the grains. 

Thooyamalli is a pearl colored, parboiled rice.  Good for making tiffin items, and cooked rice goes well with veggies, sambar, buttermilk, etc.  Its a traditional milled rice for ease of cooking and digestion,  This rice does digest easily and tastes really good.  It is a staple as it contains balanced taste and nutrients  It is super fine rice and easy to cook & friendly to your stomach as it digests easily.
