Another Super Grain, this tiny-but-powerful food has some similarities to quinoa, both are good protein sources and are naturally gluten-free and is a true powerhouse. The amaranth seeds are grown in the mountain terrain of Kumaon and Garhwal. The seeds are washed, sun-dried and then roasted for just the correct pop.
The roasted seeds look like tiny popcorn kernels and has a nutty taste. It has a shelf life of 6 months, keep in airtight container.
