Those who have not ventured yet into Healthy Buddha's world of organic groceries, we have put together a starter kit for you to try out.
Grocery Starter Kit costs Rs. 495 and includes:
500g Atta, 500g Toor Dal, 1 Litre Sunflower Oil, 500g Sona Masoori White Rice, 500g Jaggery Powder
Why should you eat organic non perishables? Does it make a difference like it does in fruits and veggies?
Organic applies to non perishables like Dal, Rice, honey, sugar, juices, etc. Not only in the way it is grown without chemicals, but also in the way it is processed (without chemicals) & stored without any fumigants. For instance, In conventional farming, fillers are added while grinding wheat to make Atta. In Rice & Pulses, fumigants are sprayed while storing to prevent insects.
Subhashini, a regular customer says "We first started with buying organic vegetables and fruits and slowly expanded to organic groceries. I remember, the first time we tasted organic dal, my husband and I were transported to our childhood days. From then, there was no turning back. Now, I am happy and satisfied to see my children eating real food, something that we all grew up eating."
